Blue MDPE Barrier Pipe
MDPE Barrier Pipe is used when the ground in which the water supply pipe is to be laid is contaminated. The most common use for this is in brownfield sites where the integrity of the soil cannot be guaranteed.
The pipe comprises of an MDPE outer layer over a central aluminium sleeve which is totally impervious to organic and chemical matter. Lightweight, flexible and corrosion resistant, this product is fully approved by the WRC. Other sizes are available upon request.
